How do I sign up for a consultation?
Book a consultation using the button at the top right of this page. Or you can download our starter kit anywhere on the site and you will be given the option to book after as well.
Is jiu-jitsu dangerous?
Jiu-jitsu is a combat sport, so the level of risk is never zero. However, we make partner safety our top priority and see a very low incidence of injury. We focus on training in such a way that we can always come back tomorrow and do it again!
Do I get the chance to meet new friends?
Absolutely. You will make some of the best friends you've ever had by connecting with your training partners. There's no bond quite like it.
What sets you apart from other gyms?
Quality is our number one priority. Our methodology and approach are unique and get exceptional results! Our coaches care about skill acquisition and go above and beyond to help you achieve your goals.
How often do you recommend coming to classes?
If you are a beginner, we recommend starting with 2 to 3 classes a week, seeing how your body adjusts, and adding in more training as you so desire. It may take a while for your body to get used to training, so listen to your body and know you will need recovery time between training days. Getting good sleep and eating healthy are great ways to recover faster and come back stronger!
Do you have showers?
We are in the process of expanding our facility and will soon offer showers, additional changing rooms, additional mat space, and a sauna.
Do I have to be fit to join?
No! No matter what your current fitness level is, we can meet you right where you are. Every class is designed to meet you at your level, improve your fitness, and move you toward your goals. Our program is designed for universal scalability, making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience.
What payment methods do you accept?
We take all major credit cards and debit cards. We do not accept personal checks.
What should I expect for my first class?
Wear workout attire, including clothing with no buttons or zippers. Bring a water bottle as you're going to be thirsty. Some students use a sweat towel. When you arrive we will get you checked in, meet you on the mats, pair you up with an appropriate partner, and get right to work developing skills!
Am I going to get beat up or intimidated?
Absolutely not. We will pair you up with the right partner, and everyone in our room is focused on mutual benefit while training. Our goal is to make each other better each day, so our training environment is collaborative, playful, and engaging. You will never feel lost or intimidated on our mats, and in a very short time they will feel like home!
